Industry Associations are responsible for institutionally
and commercially representing and promoting the industry and the companies
of which they are composed. Aware of this reality, moddo has approached
this industry's associations at an international level, and it has materialised
in the following collaborations:

AEC- The Spanish Footwear
Components Association
|
|
The AEC is a non-profit business association, the
principal purpose of which is to represent and defend the interests of
the industry in all institutional arenas. The Association is likewise
responsible for carrying out a series of activities directed at the national
and international promotion of the industry and its member companies.
The AEC, with its headquarters in Elche, Alicante (Spain),
has more than 200 associates, the majority of which are small and medium
businesses located mainly in the Regional Community of Valencia.
In addition, it is the organiser of the FUTURMODA Fair.

APICAL - Provincial Association
of Footwear Industries
|
APICAL, the Provincial Association
of Footwear Industries brings together almost 100% of the footwear industry
of the Province of Huelva in the South of Spain. Their main objective
is to provide incentive and support to the activities organised by the
member companies aimed at obtaining common results.
The Association provides an important consulting, training and new
technology development role along with supporting the participation
of footwear companies from the area in the fairs of the sector.
Twenty years ago, APICAL created a distinctive label for the footwear
of Valverde, the promotion of which is one of the main objectives of
the Association.

ASEFMA -
The Spanish Association of Leather Goods Manufacturers
|
The
ASEFMA is the business owners association for the leather goods industry,
and it is therefore responsible for the institutional representation
of the companies that make up the industry. It is also characterised
by the promotion of its companies in markets abroad through grouped
participation at international fairsnali.
Another important activity of the ASEFMA is organising the IBERPIEL
Fair. The ASEFMA represents more than 90 businesses from the leather
goods industry.

EXCAL- Association of Footwear
Representatives
|
The
Association EXCAL is a centre of footwear distribution and sales that
brings together in the same premises exhibitions and showcases of more
than 300 Spanish footwear manufacturers.
Excal was created in 1982, as a result a union among around twenty
footwear representatives in order to provide a more centralised service
with increased quality to all their clients.
20 years on, and thanks to the effort made by this initial group,
Excal has become one of the most important associations of the footwear
sector, made up of 62 commercial agents who represent more than 300
footwear companies.

CAUCE -Association of
Footwear Representatives
|
The
group of footwear representatives Cauce, brings together 31 agents that
represent in Madrid around one hundred brands.
They are found every Monday in the offices of the centre and each
representative presents their collections to those clients that visit
the premises. Along side this, each season they organise a presentation
of showcases to ease the selection and order process of retailers.
Since its creation, around thirty years ago, Cauce has demonstrated
the philosophy of the group through a "permanent fair" open to the retailers
of Madrid and by providing trustworthy information to assist with the
selection of the most appropriate models to sell in their stores.

The National Association of Suppliers of the Footwear Industry
|
Founded in September of 1979 in order to unify and promote the integrated
development of the supply agent industry, it represents the industries
of different areas such as machinery and equipment for footwear and
tanneries; chemical products; hides and skins; synthetic materials and
textiles; shoe trees, heels, and soles; components; accessories; and
fittings.
The ANPIC Fair stands out among its main activities.
The ANPIC has its main offices in León, Guanajuato (Mexico).

CICEG - The Footwear
Industries Board of the State of Guanajuato
|
|
This Association represents close to 1000 companies
in the industry located in this State. Its principal mission is to represent
the industry in all institutions and entities, both national and international.
In addition, it supports its associates in all activities necessary for
the integral development of their companies.

The Chamber organises the main footwear event,
SAPICA.

CICEJ - The Footwear
Industries Board of Jalisco
|
It was born with the fundamental mission of offering services to the
footwear and leather goods industries as well as representing their
interests vis-à-vis the authorities and private industries, both domestic
as well as foreign. In addition, it endeavours to encourage and stimulate
the integral development of the industry.
As a showcase of the Jalisco footwear offer, the CICEJ organises the
MODAMA Fair.
The Association's headquarters are located in the city of Guadalajara,
in the State of Jalisco (Mexico).
